Novara is a company developing novel powder technology processes for battery manufacturing/recycling: 

  1. Reaction defluorination-pyrolysis technology for direct recycling of Li-ion battery electrode materials. Status: laboratory technology,  reactor, and batches of the recycled NMC cathode active materials are made

  2.  Solid-state pyrolysis-synthesis and post-sintering milling of cathode active materials.  Status:  The technology trials to obtain NMC monocrystalline active material are underway.  

  3. Solvent-free cold spray technology and equipment for Li-ion battery electrodes manufacturing.   Status: The laboratory batch of electrodes has been deposited and examined.
